Great Time In Somerset !

Merry Christmas to all !

Back from a fab trip to Somerset. Played at a Thanksgiving dinner in a wonderful old School house and then at The Riverside Inn in Cheddar. Thanks to our wonderful American friends Rebecca and Scooter for their hospitality and continued support and enthusiasm for Mardi Grass.

That's it now for Mardi Grass gigs this year but we have some fantastic things lined up for 2013 and will be playing all over the country at some rather funky venues - we kick off wit...

Gig Update

Up coming gigs for the rest of the year from the Mardi Grassers are as follows:

* October 5th Windlesham Club 8:45pm

* October 14th Hampshire Octoberfest 2:20pm

* December 13 Betsey Trotwood - Clerkenwell 8:45 (TBC)

We're working on loads of new songs so should be fun :-)) Hope to see you there !

Also, might have another at The Bounty in Basingstoke but no firm date yet.

Oh, by the way, We are also playing at the White Lion in St. Albans on Tuesday 28th Sept (AL1 1RN) as part of their Ruby Tuesday events. This is our second time there so we must be doing something right :-))

The UK tour continues ;-) We're in Somerset next Satuday (25th)at The Riverside Inn (BS27 3PX). We got this gig after the wonderful Rebecca saw us play at The Bounty in Basingstoke (I know, we really do get around !) and set up the gig in the local pub in her home town. We've organised good weather so get down there, catch a tan and come see us play :-))

Orwell - Wow !

Just got back from Orwell festival in Ipswich - absolutely fantastic weekend ! Such a friendly festival and great to jam with so many wonderful musicians and see so many good bands !

Really enjoyed playing our Mardi Grass set. The comments we got suggests it went down well and the marquee was filling up as we played. We should have some Youtube vids and pictures up soon - massive thanks to Chris and Ralph for booking us to play - we're looking forward to returning next year :-) Special ...
